Sleep
is missing
It's missing those two
And Mummy makes three
The lengths I will not go to
The sleepstuff in my eyes
Oh no I've slept too much
I'd best get up

That's me in the corner
That's me on the sofa, losing my volition
Trying to clean up pools of glue
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no I've slept too much
I haven't slept enough
I thought that I heard them snoring
I thought that I heard them sigh
I think I thought I saw them try

Every whisper
Of every waking hour I'm
Choosing tea addictions
Trying to keep an eye open
Like a hurt lost and blinded fool
Oh no I've slept too much
I'd best get up

Consider this
The hint of the century
Consider this
Lego that brought me
To my knees failed
What if all these plastic toys
Come flailing around
Now I've slept too much
I thought that I heard them snoring
I thought that I heard them snooze
