To the dad who told me I was a "pushy parent" when he asked Linnea's age

I'm a pushy, pushy parent
And my baby's going to soar -
When it seems she might be flagging,
I just push her even more.

I'm going to get her higher
Than she knew that she could go.
Don't ask me how I'll do it -
We mothers, we just know.

It causes social problems,
This early walking thing,
But she doesn't need to do it
When I push her on the swing.

Aw, that's wonderful.
And very clever.

I'm not sure I have your mobile number, but I'll check into mIRC before I set off.

:)

Kate was a late walker (15 months before she did it properly) but her Grandad (Andy's dad) walked at 10 months.

Will be interesting to see who Holly takes after :)

Lovely poems (as usual).

People are strange, aren't they? You're getting accused of being a pushy parent because L is ahead of her age. Because, of course, it would be really easy to stop her learning...

I'm being told not to worry when I point out, matter-of-factly, that Jack is absolutely average in his milestones. Why on earth would I worry? He's a normal boy!
